Full-stack Developer

Do you want to build next-generation software solutions for the energy sector that run in production and solve real-world problems? 

Advian is looking for a Full-stack Developer to join our team. You’ll build cloud-native product features for the energy sector — from scalable APIs to user-friendly interfaces — with a focus on making AI solutions usable in real-world operations, not just accurate in theory. You’ll work mainly on product development, while also contributing to customer projects.

THE ROLE 

In this role, you’ll shape and build Advian’s next-generation software products for the energy sector. You’ll work on full-stack development tasks from design to delivery, with a strong focus on high-quality implementation and clear documentation — collaborating with domain experts and other developers when needed. 

Your work typically includes: 

• Building and maintaining APIs and backend logic 

• Developing full-stack features with Go and JavaScript 

• UI/UX design and user-friendly interfaces 

• Working with real-time and time-series data 

• Designing and using PostgreSQL databases 

• Working in Azure cloud environments 

• Delivering high-quality, well-documented production code 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

We would be a good match if you have: 

• Full-stack development experience with React/JavaScript, Python and Golang (or Java) 

• Strong skills in API development 

• Hands-on experience with Terraform & CI/CD 

• Experience working in an Azure environment 

• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL (with time-series extensions) 

• Professional communication skills in English 

It is considered a plus if you have: 

• An earlier R&D background  

• Understanding of machine learning and/or geospatial solutions 

• Finnish language skills (spoken and written)
